Our founder, Gavin, is an adventurer at heart, always seeking wide open spaces to energise his soul. It seemed only natural that he has ended up building The Long Lunch, a travel company with purpose.
He believes that intentional, conscious travel is the best way to experience the world. For him, that means approaching all aspects of a trip with awareness of the impact that each decision has on our wellbeing and the places we visit.
Gavin plays a central role the curation of all trips and the customer experience at The Long Lunch.
What's in a name?
The Long Lunch may seem like an odd name for a travel company. Well, for us, it seems perfectly fitting. A celebratory meal with loved ones invites presence, connection and joy. In that same light, we encourage travel that is equally savoured for the gift that it is. There is a better way.
